* Previously the Orbis Africa Equity (Rand) Fund. From 1 October 2010 management of the Fund has transferred to Allan Gray International (Pty) Ltd. From 1 May 2012 the Fund has been renamed the Allan Gray Africa Equity Fund.

It is anticipated that most of the total returns of the Orbis Funds will be earned from capital appreciation on their investments rather than investment income from dividends or other income. As a result, investors should expect that in most years, after deduction of a Fund's expenses, the Fund might not have any net investment income available for dividends.

Dividends from a Fund will be automatically reinvested in additional shares of the Fund at their Net Asset Value per share unless:

  1. an investor requests in writing that any dividends be paid to the investor; or
  2. country regulations require different treatment of dividends.

In the event that a Fund pays a dividend, such amount is included in the Fund’s Total Rate of Return.
